SILTMUN is a Model United Nations conference jointly hosted by students from St. Ignatius College Prep and Lyons Township High School. SILTMUN was started in 2011 with its first conference at St. Ignatius. In 2012, SILTMUN will host its second conference at Lyons Township in La Grange. SILTMUN is a one day training conference with a focus on cabinets and crises that challenge new and veteran delegates alike. Our goal is to offer a conference that prepares delegates for intense cabinet positions at the large, multi-day conferences offered by colleges and universities held in major cities across the United States and internationally.
